RHE has today shipped a complete set of Brand New B737-400 Shoring / Stress Jacks to a Mainland European Customer. Working to the dimensions set out in the Structural Repair Manual (SRM) the Jacks were manufactured by RHE and will support an aircraft undergoing a major repair.
“Stress” or “Shoring” Jacks are used to steady the aircraft whilst the main jacks take the load and are used when the structural stability of the airframe is compromised due to the removal of stressed skins and major structural parts during repair or major modification such as the embodiment of a Cargo Door.
RHE has manufactured a complete aircraft set of Stress / Shoring Jacks which support the Vertical Stabiliser, Fuselage Underbelly, Wing and Nose.
